It's lucky to have students that are artists and shifting careers into the sciences. This Madame Curie painting was made with only reclaimed pigments from mine waste by a SSC student.

8 years ago I was so angry with the attacks on science 🧪 and marching in DC at a stand with science rally did give me hope. Yesterday I did the exact same thing in Seattle. But it is so much worse. Call your reps! Tell them to honor the existing grants to labs!
