Centro Mater hosted its annual Family and Health Fair in Little Havana yesterday evening!

I am so grateful for organizations like Centro Mater that lift up not only Little Havana, but our entire city. Thanks to their amazing team for putting together such a fantastic evening!

Our small businesses have endured economic hardship from closures for more than two years, and that is unacceptable. Protecting and supporting Miami’s small businesses remains one of our top priorities.

Wonderful to spend time at the Coconut Grove Arts Festival, celebrating creativity, community, and the artists who make Miami so vibrant. Events like this showcase the talent, culture, and small businesses that strengthen our city.

Miami stands with our Haitian community. I condemn the appeal of the TPS ruling and I’m calling for compassion, stability, and leadership for families who are central to our city’s strength.

Yesterday, I attended the groundbreaking and ribbon cutting ceremony for the New Legion Dog Park. 🐶

Dog parks like these create shared spaces that help strengthen our community. It creates everyday opportunities for people to spend time outdoors together.

Today’s court ruling is welcome news for Haitian families and for Miami. TPS protections mean stability for workers, employers, schools, and neighborhoods, and they honor the community that helps make our city strong. 🇭🇹💙

Our Miami Police Department and Fire Rescue held a friendly field day competition this past weekend in their Battle of The Badges! 🚒🚔

But this was more than just a contest. This event raises awareness about first responder mental health.

Today is St. Brigid’s Day!

St. Brigid’s Day celebrates the accomplishments of Irish women throughout history.

As both the first female mayor of Miami and someone who is proud of their Irish heritage, I am delighted to be able to join the community on such a meaningful day for the culture.

Yesterday I attended a celebration in honor of Our Lady of Altagracia, the beloved patroness of the Dominican Republic.

Thank you to Father Menendez for inviting me to the church on such an important day for our Dominican community.

Today is my first Commission Meeting with City Manager James Reyes by my side.

We are ready to make Miami a city that works for you.

I had a wonderful time with my City colleagues and both City of Miami and Miami-Dade County first responders in this year’s MLK parade!

Our new City Manager and I had the chance to tour the construction site for Miami Freedom Park — the future home of Inter Miami FC — and our new Administration Building. It was great to see the progress up close and personal for the future home of the City of Miami.

Congratulations to the EMS Cadets on their graduation today! These young cadets will stand on the frontlines as future City of Miami firefighters and paramedics.

I also want to extend a special thank you to Miami Dade College for hosting this wonderful event.

Yesterday marked the 16th anniversary of the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti, killing hundreds of thousands and displacing millions.

We gathered at the Little Haiti Cultural Center to honor both the memory of the lives lost in this tragedy and the resiliency of the Haitian people.

This weekend, I was honored to attend the 2026 Voices for Children Gala. This year's theme was "Bloom Where You Are Planted," a message that advocates for the success of all children, no matter their circumstances.

As your Mayor, I will fight to ensure that all children thrive in our city.

The City of Miami hosted its annual Three Kings Parade this weekend on Calle Ocho, bringing together the entire community for a day of music, food and family.

I'm honored to be a part of this historic celebration that continues to unite the city through tradition and culture.

A special congratulations to our @miamicitymanager James Reyes for being sworn in today. Reyes brings the experience and leadership needed to ensure our City government works for everyone.
