I'm so tired of algorithms trying to predict my preferences and box me into a consumer profile. I don't want to just mindlessly consume content - I want genuine interactions with real people. The endless feed of recommendations is making us all passive scrollers

Making AI is like when I created concert visuals in the pre-AI days. Back then, I'd take existing footage, mix in my own clips and blend different pieces to create something new. Today's AI process echoes that same approach: building upon what exists to craft fresh expressions.

AI artists get criticized for creating with prompts rather than drawing or painting every detail in the image. I however see ai artists less like painters and more like photographers.
A photographer doesn't manually place each cloud in the sky but they compose the image through their choices.

When using AI tools for art it is easy to become fascinated by the latest tools. And I think it can be a trap. Rather I try to stick to the tool that is the best fit for the expression I am trying to achieve. There are so many possibilities even in slightly older ai tools

The weird morphing AI hands are a recurring theme in my AI animations but I realised that I have had a blind spot: All the hands in my videos have been white until now. Because I did not include skin color in my prompts the AI defaulted to always making white hands and I did not notice the bias.
