For those of you imploring people to call their Senators. It was never going to make a difference. The GOP has always chosen party over country, and party over morality. It’s why Trump is President right now.

They are one on top of another because he is a pathological narcissist. He believes every word he says, because he can’t believe that he would be wrong about anything. He isn’t lying to deceive, he’s lying because he doesn’t know fact from fiction. In his world everything he thinks is true…is.

It more than that. It’s about encouraging people to find their voice at work, and make positive contributions. Exclusive of race or gender. It’s about treating other people’s with respect. About treating each other fairly. No matter what color you are. It’s not a fucking race thing! Dammit!!

As democrats, we have become complacent with the leaders of our party that acquiesce to GOP bullshit in the name of decorum, and a search for bipartisanship. It’s time for Democratic leaders to stop fucking around, and take the gloves off. But WE have to demand it through action at the ballot box.

We need so much more Patricia. It’s extremely disheartening to watch Democrats play by a rulebook the GOP threw out 25 years ago. We deserve better. Humanity deserves better. We need leaders that will hold Trump and the GOP accountable for their lies and subversion. We need action, not gestures.

You're not wrong. If he declares a state of emergency, he can deploy US troops on American soil. That will be coming soon. Also expect a government sponsored militia program to start, with the bulk of the members coming from organizations like the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys. This will get very bad.

The sad thing is. If our Democratic leadership had a spine, or was interested at all about preserving democracy, we wouldn't be in this position. But they don't, and here we are. We need new leadership in Washington. We need activists right now. Not politicians.
