Using open access occurrence records from GBIF, 2022 GRA winner Armand Rausell-Moreno led research to investigate whether environmental data combined with predictive modelling can reveal hidden diversity within species.

And the GRA was a very cool way to get the motivation to materialize the project into a publication. So if you have an idea on how to use gbif data, do not doubt it!
