I like to add '09 ghost lore to '22 Ghost's lore, but it's so funny to think about like "There's no picture" - Kate Laswell / "Never" - John Price, and it's maybe because Ghost always wears a mask so they just stop trying to take pictures.

Price literally started a task force of ROGUE SOLDIERS, "Our hands get dirty, amd the world stays clean" no one except Laswell knows what they're up to. 141 does not do dirty work for the government, they do it for the sake of the people. Because they are the outcasts.

Gaz is quite literally the poster boy for military propaganda. Great scores across the board, good in any position you give him. Recon, overwatch, active combat.

141 would literally be a living hellscape without those two, don't even get me started on how Gaz is so easily forgotten. He's slightly less intense than Soap but he's got the favour of not only his captain, but Nik, Alex, AND FARAH, someone that does not trust easy.

TLDR: Ghost is scary, Soap is scarier. That's what makes their dynamic work

Ghost is SCARED of his shorter, tanky husband and that's what makes Ghoap work so well. Soap is actively pushing boundaries and Ghost let's him because his dear Johnny knows where he sleeps, and frankly, he doesn't want to wake up with a bomb rigged to his alarm.

The most we've seen from Ghost is him guiding a missile, shiv a guy from above, and cry about his boyfriend dying, maybe say something life changing but that's it.

Soap can and WILL hunt you down like a predator with the stealth of one too.

He's level-headed, in a weird way. He's super nonchalant about most things, but his anger (when needed or not) gets the better of him.

He proved himself to Ghost in ONE NIGHT while bleeding out.

I think people got too attached to ghost being scary that they forgot that soap is scarier. Not only is he a trained sniper and demos expert, he's faster and quite possibly more quiet than ghost.

He got the name soap for cleaning house, he slips in and out like no one was there and how do you -
