A week ago I filed a records request with Maui Co. Unless they fail to comply, Maui co will be releasing dispatch logs for Aug 8 soon.
PD road closures persisted during the peak of the self evacuation 3-6PM.
Maui co has not answered if the Emergency Op Center actived 3-6PM.
