I have completely deleted my Duolingo. I was informed by one of my kids that the company has removed most of its employees and 70% of the company is run by AI.

Yeah like C2E2 im sure would have some form of artist events/artists you can talk to. I went to SDCC under a professional pass and got a lot of feedback on my pitch. Otherwise its just putting yourself out there and talking to artists at their booths about their work

I recommend going to bigger comic conventions if you can and see if they have portfolio reviews + workshops

Comics are fun for me bc idk its just a constant thing to work on and they’re not a sprint- they’re a marathon which I think can be hard at first but kinda nice in terms of consistency and fulfillment
