The frame issues have only popped up in one specific minigame, and the music skipping is irregular. It’s more an issue that the game feels unpolished through death by a thousand cuts.

Like I’d still recommend it, I’m having a blast.

Unbeatable feels somewhat rough on PS5 but this game has so much unbridled sauce that I don’t care.

Like cutscene issues, music skipping, frame rate issues at random points. I can’t tell what’s a quirk and what’s a bug.

And yet, I do not give a shit.

This game is freaking special.

I’m playing the game on PS5 and there’s definitely something happening there too.

It seems like the games loading the cutscenes out of order and then reloading them. It’s very strange.

Man, Marvel TOKON has the sauce, that game is fun as hell.

PlayStation and Arc Sys have a huge hit on their hands.

When I picked up Shinobi: Art of Vengeance, I didn’t;

A) expect the game to make me feel shit with its narrative.

B) expect it to be a serious game of the year contender.

What a fantastic game, holy shit.

Ahead of more #TheGameAwards leaks, here's my predictions on winners and world premieres. I have my predictions that I'm sticking by and then there's some that I'd call notions or that aren't that exciting.

I'm making 10 predictions that are actually fun.

I know it's not ideal but thank GOD it's not Paramount. I don't care if Superman is on Netflix, I care that Superman can hate nazis.

Of course, Expedition 33 has been a huge success, and Immortals flopped.

Team size likely a big factor here, funding routes and scalability, the use of co-development. Also tough to compare a good game with a medium defining piece of art.

Made me think, Expedition 33 vs Aveum is a very interesting case study.

Both games born from the desire that people in large studios felt to do something different. Built with the intent of using UE5 efficiently, and trying to provide a simpler, solo experience without the foils of modern industry

Listening to @thegamebusiness.com episode with Owen Mahoney, and there was a comparison between Arc Raiders and Immortals of Aveum as a case study on games investment (specifically, big studios coming from people who had led other big studios and getting huge investment)
