Right now I’m researching if it would be better to make a software tv tuner that generates xmltv guides and use JF’s tv interface, build a whole new Jellyfin plugin and UI, or just make an external html page that uses the Jellyfin api to populate the interface.

So each playlist would get turned into (fake) live streaming channels you can browse. It would get the media metadata from JF and do lots of math to sequence episodes or movies and simulate a tv channel schedule.

So the other day I had the idea to generate live tv streams in Jellyfin (home media server) based on your own movie and show playlists
