Final position of the board game Votes for Women showing a win for the Opposition player (me).

Finally got to play Votes for Women. It came down to a Final Vote and, due to some unlucky dice rolls by my wife, I managed to keep those troublesome women from voting! Because, you know, men have done such a great job so far. 🙄

On the plus side, she wants a rematch! I’m a lucky guy.

My total 2024 gaming. It’s a testament to how much my wife and I are enjoying Sky Team, considering we just bought it in November.

Gloomhaven is still a solid 10 for me and Return to Dark Tower is one of the best game purchases I’ve made. Sea Salt & Paper comes out when we want something quick.

No, but seriously, thanks. I now have something to sing next time we have white people taco night. Which, coincidentally, is tomorrow.

Sky Team!!

I played it for the first time with my wife last month and she was immediately addicted.

My table set up with the Lord of the Rings Card Game, a couple glasses of bourbon for me and my son, and a glass of wine for my wife.

Time for some wine, bourbon, and a Journey Down the Anduin with The Lord of the Rings Card Game. We won, but barely. 😓

I skipped the Kickstarter on this…and I’m sorry I did.

Very enjoyable. Although I have a friend that said it failed with his group when one of the people was too passive and didn’t defend the strength of his hand enough.

That wasn’t my experience however.

I love War Chest and don’t get to play it nearly enough.

Plum Island was fun, although we did get a rule wrong. I’m anxious to try again with all the correct rules.
