Cold lunch time run, mainly pavement but love this downhill , old railway line , despite the path being bobbly from tree roots. It’s a pretty & peaceful section #running

50-60km is ‘fun’, certainly gets more challenging after that. Depending on your ambitions, I find ultras easier than marathons. More relaxed, it’s about the distance rather than the time (for me)

Couple of self supported ultras next year, one a multi day to go from home to the Lake District. Taking a break from races next year after over doing them this year

Middle-aged dad, co parenting. Runs quite a bit to try and counteract the love of cake and pizza. Been running 7 years now, after losing over 6 stone, ran various marathons & ultras. Still a grungekid. Love sci fi & fantasy tv/films. Write a bit.
