The light is dim. In the first panel, Jikken is standing in her hotel room and braiding her hair. In the second panel, she falls back onto her bed. In the third panel, she's laying back on her bed, arms spread out as she lays there blankly. In the fourth panel, she's turned around and is now sleeping on her side, the panel fading toward black at the bottom. The fifth and final panel is all black. It has white text on the black background that says: "END PART 1"

In the first panel, Frisk is reaching out to touch Jikken's back and get her attention. Jikken looks surprised, looking back to Frisk. There's a dialogue box, and it says: "* You ask if they're okay... again." In the second panel, Jikken is smiling nervously and holding up her hands. She says: "Oh! I'm fine, this just..." In the third panel, one of the weathered plaques is visible. It reads: "United, the humans were too powerful, and us monsters, too weak. Not a single soul was taken, and countless monsters were turned to dust..." Jikken says: "Uh... looks familiar." In the fourth panel, Frisk looks shocked. The dialogue box says: "* YOU CAN SEE THROUGH THAT?!? * ... You say." In the fifth panel, Jikken says: "Not... very well." In the sixth panel, Frisk looks curious. In the first panel, Jikken and Frisk are in the constellation room. Frisk has just finished looking through the telescope in the room, and has a red circle around their eye. They look to Jikken as she speaks. Jikken says: "So... where are we going?" In the second panel, Frisk is hopping across flowering bridge seeds. There's a dialogue box, and it says: "* You apologize." In the third panel, Frisk is pushing some seaweed out of the way as Jikken walks behind them. They're shrugging, a slightly concerned look on their face. Jikken is shivering, saying: "It's already so cold--". There's a dialogue box on screen, which says: "* You should have given them warm clothes." The fourth panel is a view of the path into Snowdin, flanked by pine trees and shrouded in mist. The floor is covered in snow.

In the first panel, Jikken is staring ahead with a hand raised to her mouth, silent. Her speech bubble has ellipses in it. Frisk is smiling back at her, pointing ahead. They have a dialogue box, and it says: "* You tell them they can stay at the Inn here." The second panel is a shot of Sans and Papyrus' house, their shed and the igloo shortcut. The third panel shows the decorated Gyftmas tree with Monster Kid and the blue bear monster around it. In the fourth panel, Jikken smiles, clapping her hands together. She's still shivering. She says: "Oh! It's this place!" The dialogue box says: "* It's Snowdin. * You ask if they've been here before." Jikken says: "Nope!"

In the first panel, Jikken is nervously sitting down to slide into the igloo shortcut. In the second panel, Jikken and Frisk are at the open door of the inn, with Frisk leading Jikken in. In the third panel, Frisk is at the counter where the inn bunny and her child are, paying for the room in G. Jikken is waiting on the couch, staring blankly ahead and hugging a pillow. In the fourth panel, Jikken is heading up the stairs. In the fifth panel, she's approaching her room door. In the sixth panel, which is a close-up of Jikken's face, she sighs. She looks nervous.
