Okay but like I just ran 2x2km at a pace that used to be my target 200m interval pace and that is actually wild.

Trying to tell myself that this morning’s transport stress is also part of why we do training races. To deal with stress that arises on race day.

Hopefully there won’t be quite this much stress on proper race days.

I’m kind of sick of the β€˜running used to be for everyone but influencers are gatekeeping’ because what I hear is β€˜I don’t follow slower, female, or traditionally underrepresented runners on social media media or I’m actively engaging in rage baiting!’
