I've been harsh on Nate Ament this year, but he had by far his best game in a Tennessee jersey against Alabama. I broke down why it looked different and why it could hopefully be a turning point in his season. youtu.be/ZBuHoAlM2h0

I broke down Keaton Wagler's historic scoring performance against Purdue and why it didn't feel like an outlier performance, but one that is replicable and reminiscent based on his process all season. youtu.be/-3QWJe-WzQ4

Darryn Peterson put on a scoring masterclass in Kansas's win over Baylor. I broke it all down and why Peterson is one of the most NBA ready freshman guard scorers we've seen in a long time. youtu.be/MCoBa0fgyH0?...

Dylan Harper, as expected, has been fantastic for the San Antonio Spurs. I broke down how he continues to impact winning and why talent should win out over fit every single time. open.substack.com/pub/noceilin...

Yea I think he could fall into that later tier of guys who could be second round flyers or UDFA guys that provide value. He could definitely have a Tre Jones, Jose Alvarado, etc. type of role if he finds the right spot.

It's no secret that NBA teams are pressing more, but the rapid rise means that we're bound for a counter move in team construction. I dove into the trend and how we could start seeing a shift starting with the 2026 NBA Draft. open.substack.com/pub/noceilin...

Cooper Flagg just scored the most points by an 18 year old in NBA history. I broke down why it was driven by great process and not fluke shooting.

Watch Braylon Mullins's fundamentals and footwork with his on-ball DEF here. Does a great job of sliding his feet, staying in a low defensive stance, and playing with physicality to cut off drives.
13.12.2025 17:45 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is an awesome possession by Braylon Mullins showing how he plays with his head up. Off the first OREB he does a great job of passing through traffic to find Karaban on the cut. Then on the next one he has the wherewithal to tip the OREB to Karaban for the easy layup.

Boozer is throwing some really nice passes. If you send a double that he can see, heβs going to make you pay.

18.11.2025 03:02 β π 1 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0One of the best things of watching games in person is when a player vigorously signals to challenge, the coach looks at his review guy, and the review guy grimaces and shakes his head.
18.11.2025 02:08 β π 2 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0PJ Washington and Julius Randle do not seem to enjoy each other's company. Been pretty chippy between the two all night.
18.11.2025 02:03 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This Mavs' offense is a tougher watch in person. Everyone is just doing their own thing with a lot of over dribbling and shot hunting.
18.11.2025 01:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The amount of havoc and chaos that Jaylen Clark generates with his on ball defense is so much fun. He really deserves to be in those conversations with the elite perimeter on-ball defenders in the league.

ICYMI I put up a video yesterday on AJ Dybantsa's game against UConn focused on his scoring, how he adjusted midgame, and ended up looking like a star. youtu.be/Rf_5eZpIPEs?...
I was a little skeptical on how Darius Adamsβ rim pressure would translate to college, but heβs been a lot of fun. Heβs just so crafty, composed, has great balance, and is relentless. Fun game for him today against Marquette.
15.11.2025 21:21 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Really nice game from Mikel Brown today creating out of the PNR, getting paint touches, and playing simple. Have enjoyed his decision making and passing vision.
15.11.2025 18:39 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Morez Johnson was huge for Michigan down the stretch last night. Not sure they pull off that win without him. Needs to work on the DEF discipline but his DEF versatility, rebounding on both ends, interior finishing, and cutting constantly bailed them out.
