We stand with the people of Minnesota and the American labour movement in voicing our outrage against the killing of a young woman by ICE.
Workers standing up for one another includes fighting to defend the rights of immigrant workers and their families. An injury to one is an injury to all.
Individuals living with a disability deserve to live in dignity. Achieving that requires a a disability benefit that makes it possible. Even more so, workers want pathways to meaningful employment with a fair wage. Let’s not focus on this issue only one day per year.

Workers showed up through downturns. They kept production running. And now, while they’re losing their jobs, the CEO gets to keep his.
It’s shameful. The Carney government must intervene to protect these jobs, through procurement, policy and action.
Nine months later, they’ve been proven right.
Now 1,000 families are left wondering how they’ll pay their mortgages and plan their futures — all because governments keep choosing shareholders over the people who actually built this company.
This is outrageous. Algoma Steel took public money, our money, and paid workers back with pink slips.
When I was in Sault Ste. Marie earlier this year, workers and USW leaders warned this exact thing would happen without real job protections.
