Survivors are often forced into illegal work and then punished instead of seen as victims. This is labor trafficking by forced criminality. Our survivor consultant shares how this happened to him as a youth. We’re pushing for better protections and services so survivors get help, not punishment.

AB 1362 is now law — a first-in-the-nation step to prevent immigrant labor trafficking.
