Survivors are often forced into illegal work and then punished instead of seen as victims. This is labor trafficking by forced criminality. Our survivor consultant shares how this happened to him as a youth. Weβre pushing for better protections and services so survivors get help, not punishment.

The recent ICE raids at LA workplaces donβt just spread fearβthey force immigrant workers, including trafficking survivors, into greater silence and isolation.
β£
We need an approach that protects, not punishes. ICE should be fighting human trafficking, not fueling it through intimidation.
β£
Survivors shouldnβt have to defend how they survived. The Diddy trial shows we still blame victims for their trauma responses. As featured in the LA Times, we must listen, learn, and stand with survivors. #TraumaInformed #BelieveSurvivors
