I liked TikTok, instagram, Pinterest and tumblr but it’s full of ai and/or ads. Instagram lost its essence when it tries to be temu version of TikTok. TikTok is owned by oracle and will be suppressed soon. It’s becoming harder for people to get unfiltered, unbiased information in realtime.

They killed the joy of social media where you share things with families and friends. Things are now carefully curated and being promoted. It’s becoming harder and harder to get information and see your friends and family. I miss how simple social media was with fact checker.

Social media is getting tiring with AI and advertisements. We lost social media long ago when corporations figured out you could mass market and target influence in one place. Now, it’s just a means to sell us something and forcing ai on us.

SteamOS is starting to look good but it’s mainly for gaming. I need go be able to do many other things on pc such as web coding, art and etc. Last time I used linux, I had to do dual bootup, I assume thats still needed?

I haven’t used Linux in long time. Does anyone have recommendation on Linux system? I miss window 7. I’m considering finding old copy of window 11 pre AI era or window 10. I do NOT WANT my pc to become window AI where they track things I do.

Ram pricing has gone up, SSD is going to rose and video card already skyrocketed. It’s gonna be hard for people to build PC. Rams I bought last spring has doubled the price already. My built pc has rose in value which is strange.

We are heading into society where it depends heavily on AI tech. This is essential plot of cyberpunk 2077 game where reliance on technology with AI dominance leads to ruin, cause it further separates the rich and wealthy that own that tech, and the middle-poor class who don’t.

Now, the book I’m on, “the storied life od a.j fikry” I’m scared to finish reading because I’m anticipating what might come. That’s how good a book is if the author is able to have you captivated then they did their job.
