This is the most astonishing graph of what the Trump regime has done to US science. They have destroyed the federal science workforce across the board. The negative impacts on Americans will be felt for generations, and the US might never be the same again.

It is incredibly counterproductive to badmouth Europe (and its leaders) constantly when the continent is under constant pressure or threats from the US and from Russia in the East. We can point out the necessity of mobilising in every way, including militarily, and why, but we need to show unity!

She did not SIGN anything. What Trump touts as a "deal" is a loose framework, much of which is undoable (energy quota, investments, for example), that she 'agreed' to go forward with. Retaliating tariffs would hurt EU consumers more than the US, so it was a sensible first move on her part.
