Oh yeah, it was always a level below the pros in terms of learning, which is why it was a feeder system in the first place, but you can see the cracks much more visibly even as the players themselves are more and more skilled. Familiarity helps so much when balling!

I don't think it's that no one can play so much as that it takes longer to gel and you don't always get years of experience as a team like in the women's game. Which also has transfers but the draft doesn't come into play as early and often for high-end talent!

The WNBPA needs a dedicated comms staff and media training on messaging like yesterday. You have a bunch of players talking to media today essentially implying that a strike is off the table and then you have a member of the exec committee saying it’s not. What a MESS.
