dear indie devs: it's really cool to have movesets that can be used for speedrunning, but please stop making pixel-perfect platforming a requirement. Not every retro-style game has to be infuriating to play.

Despite the weird censorship this might be the BEST port of the game... and on the flipside, the Famicom version is the WORST! I still want it in my collection though.

Mario has branched out into other genres and even helped some get popular in the west (like RPGs)
so I think it's time for Mario to make Adventure games popular. How fun would a Mario point and click adventure be? It could still have platforming elements but also dialog trees and inventory and stuff

I liked the devil theme more than the alien theme.

The new Dragon Quest I+II HD 2D has a neat reversable sleeve. On the back is the cover art for both games on Famicom!

Loren shows are comfort for me. I really love the "retro-scripting" (as he called it,) that let the characters have these very natural conservations. It helps that these shows are voiced by very clever, funny people.

I can easily go to sleep to them with a big smile on my face.

I kinda hated it at first. I preferred the previous Loren shows' art styles (Dr Katz, Home Movies, Science Court, etc,) but it definitely got softened up as it went on, and when the animation got better I started to really appreciate how fun and muppety they were.

When I see people talk about the "animation" on Bob's Burgers. The animation is actually great, it just has an art style people don't dig. Especially modern Bob's (and especially the movie, which had disney animators workin on it.)
