The International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP)

This week in Tirana, Albania, ICMP experts delivered a comprehensive training program on mass grave investigations and the identification of missing persons to partners from the government and civil society sectors in Albania. The training is a part of a project funded by the European Union.

🧬 On International Day of Women & Girls in Science, we celebrate all the talented scientists and practitioners working to support missing persons investigations across the globe. On this day, we champion the resilience that women are making to science, often in challenging circumstances.

Alexander Hug, Head of Mission for ICMP’s Iraq Program, met with Ms. Anneleen Hulshof, First Secretary for Stabilization Affairs at the Embassy of the Netherlands in Baghdad. During their discussion, Mr. Hug expressed deep appreciation for the Netherlands’ continued support.
