Audiobooks got me out of a 20yr reading slump - now I devour them! I’d love to read more physical books but my ADHD/perimenopausal/long covid brain fights me on that.

The cuff portion of a mitt knit in green yarn features cables and a chevron design. Bright pink yarn is threaded through the top row as a placeholder since I only have 1 set of DPNs in this size. To the right of this cuff is its counterpart, still on the needles, and only about 2” long.

Current WIP for #showmeyourknits - Keats & Shelley Poets’ Gloves by Lynne Vogel. I was halfway done with the pair when the discrepancies between the two became abominable. So I frogged them both to start anew. The yarn is lambswool that was salvaged from a thrifted sweater.

My mom taught me to crochet when I was about 11. Started with pumpkin appliqués, then granny squares.
A friend from La Leche League taught me (and a few other new moms) to knit about 20 years ago.
