Weather Balloon RadioSonde Tracking and Recovery using
UHF radio frequency direction-finding techniques and GPS to track flight, location and recover (collect) a radiosonde from very-high altitude (+100,000 ft). More than 100 NOAA/NWS facilities release approximately two balloons per day.
