The baby was in good shape, and I was able to put it back in its nest, though not without a bit of scared baby bird poop on my gloves.

So how's your Thursday going?

Took me forever to realize why they were attempting to dive at me and yelling incessantly from their pirch on my gutter.

Thankfully, I looked down to figure out what I was missing.

Came home to an angry couple, mad at where I parked on my own property.

Turns out, they were two worried Robins concerned for the little baby chirp that fell out of its nest near my tire.

I almost forgot j had this, but you know: Twitter.

Tot: "Mom, you're hiding Mondays from me."

She's learning days of the week. I don't know how to tell her she's going to wish Mondays were regularly hidden and not simply the day between Sunday and Tuesday.

This stressed mama was quickly and desperately trying to buy groceries for an empty kitchen after a two-week vacation, and you made everything kind and easy.

Thank you for the bit of grace. I needed every ounce.

To the Aldi manager who patiently waited for me as I did self-checkout with a cartload right at (and a bit after) close, you're a godsend.

The envelope came with a folded, printed letter about "Details of the Chastisement," and nothing else attached.

I mean, if a higher power is trying to get my attention through snail mail, there's a a first time for everything, I guess. That's one way to do it.

We regularly get mail without a return address here at the Argus. This week took a different turn.

I received a letter simply with the words "Jesus Helper," and nothing else in that return address field.

Well, I have one of these now. Let's see how useful it actually becomes.
