Baby bird season is over in SoCal? NOT SO FAST! 100s of pelicans are mating 120 feet off shore on a rock in Pismo Beach that's also used as a nesting location for cormorants and gulls, and their mating ritual is are I N C R E D I B L E as you would think it is! #birds

A pair of smallish, wet and bedraggled polar bear cubs look towards the photographer from behind some boulders along the beach. Some pink fireweed in the foreground add a pop of colour to the scene.

These polar bear cubs are 8 months old. They will stay with their mother (watching out of frame) for another year and a half before they are ready to venture out on their own. They were so curious of us humans watching from a giant, silent, tundra buggy. 🌿🦊🐻‍❄️
