This is a huge part of why large portions of the population dont trust this technology. These guys talk like we are units on a spreadsheet of the same value as their computer. They'll never have enough and everything they do is about extracting more from you and me, solely for their own gain.

Well widespread societal discussions need to be had about the adoption of AI. Questions on the benefits to society, the costs etc. Hopefully a form of consensus and transparency is reached and things move from there.

The vast majority of the responses chime with my feelings...

I love technology. I've always loved space flight and computers, I loved electronics, and I was so excited for the future.

But everything good we made was grabbed up by a few shitheads who wanted to take what we all did for humanity and cash in. They didn't even make it, they just stole it.
