We have arrived for next phase of treatment for Multiple Myeloma! 💪🏼

Today at the chemo clinic… “What are you looking forward to in the new year?” We both said “Making it to 2027!! (Never felt so much dread for the year to come).

Multiple Myeloma journey: 3 of 4 months of chemo has knocked the cancer down by 96.9%! 4 weeks of chemo to go and then transplant. Just booked an Airbnb near 🏥 for 3 (THREE!!) months!!

We started the shingles shot before we knew about the cancer. He was only able to get the 1st dose, as 6 months rolled around he was too sick. I got my 2nd just at the last minute. He’s taking an anti viral rx everyday as part of treatment now.

Hubs got his flu shot today 💕 Tricky to get w/ Multiple Myeloma treatment schedules & labs have to be just right. Next week Covid shot 🤞🏼!

Which of these people has Covid and is spreading it? OXIX We don't know. Even they don't know. 60% of those with Covid are asymptomatic, they don't know they have it or have yet to feel the symptoms. That's why everyone should be wearing a mask, even if they feel fine. Mask Up

I think the ignorance of Covid & long COVID is an issue. Like many illnesses you can be spreading an illness before you have symptoms so the idea of only masking when when sick is limited. Covid it’s even worse since 40% of those with Covid & spreading it are asymptomatic so masking important.

I cannot get through to our sweet yet dumb as a rock chemo giver. 1st time in clinic when all chairs were full of 90% unmasked cancer patients. I ran to car to get air purifier and she tries to calm ME down. Flu is “just” flu, Covid is no big deal. WTF lady?! His WBC are down - he can’t get sick!!!

Hours on the phone today trying to fill a cancer rx. Met the max out of pocket in Aug. Express Scripts/Accredo charging $308 copay. Nightmare. So tired. 😵‍💫. And why does a generic cost $64,000+ for 21 pills?!
