Maybe I talked too soon, not sure the matchmaking is that much better in competitive but to be fair, I hadn't done a single placement match yet.

I was training Mizuki in Quick Play but this is a terrible place to learn a new hero, the matchmaking is so unbearable. So now instead I'm in competitive with barely one hour of playtime but here we go.

It's such a good and interesting thing to play every hero in the game because now I know that Binding Chain is actually a hard ability to hit so whenever I'll play Anran or another flanker next time, I'll have that in mind.

Waiting for it to be on cd to engage is also a good plan most of the time.

Yeah I get why, when LW and Kiriko came out, I swapped their keybinds around to always do damage on M1 and heal with M2. It's weird this is not a consistent default on Support heroes

I just played my very first game of Mizuki ever and this hero is fun! You do so much healing by just... existing. I do enjoy the Binding Chain ability the most but I keep trying to press Shift to use it, I'm too used to Roadhog; maybe I should swap the keybinds. #Overwatch

I think I suffer from the same lack of skill playing Anran as I do Genji: doing consistant damage, especially at mid-to-long-range.

But where I'm good — like on Venture — is creating space and being a nuisance in the backline.

she's my #1 ban pick and she's banned in 90% of my games easily, yeah

depending on the team comp (especially the tank), I'd say long-range supports like Ana, Bap, Juno, maybe even Zen if you have like Doomfist or Ball, LW might be good too?

but tbf i don't really know what kind of synergy he can get from other support heroes
