Look I remember reading the sworn affidavit of one of Donald Trump’s victims. We know what this man is. I haven’t heard much or seen much about the historic theft from the 99% to the 1%, or the cruelty inflicted on the poorest of us, or the war waged on immigrants, or the EO on unhoused ppl

Part of the closeness is that far-right persuaders are calling out everything their corporations have stolen or otherwise ruined. So now the right-persuaded people need us to help them redirect the blame where it belongs. I could almost hear it click in the driver’s head.

Another Uber driver today was convinced immigrants and Muslims are destroying us. L and R are still sitting at different tables trying to have one convo, but our tables are getting close. This time all I had to do was cut him off and say “Billionaires” when he was about to name a vulnerable group.

Someone at the store freaked out about prices and it wasn’t me for once! He couldn’t contain his rage that Folgers is $20 now. I just kept saying “Greed! It’s all greed!” He called for assassinations. I told him bread riots work better. Somehow still not the weirdest interaction I’ve had at a store.
