Oraxia is pretty neat. Just imagine her behind you when you're doing a terminal.

Warframes mixed with dinosaurs, horrifying

I was thinking the seeds on the frame would kind of draw in the regions in Duviri. if you look at the drifter amp, inside is the castle where you go through it again and again. In the background behind the colors for emotions, the Zariman shows the connection between the two worlds. You, being the drifter in this story, can think of the frame as you and how your mind has encased the repressed feelings after having watched the death of your parents to the void. This card is the story of the drifter from tragic reality to the horrific glory of what the void does when given a catalyst. It's dangerous alone, so take this card with you.
Like I said, this card wouldn't be a person for the Fool because you're the drifter. The card shows the scenes and tools that you use through your journey, and the colors show the emotions throughout. This is more like the abstract representation of what the void has done to your mind.

I finished up the world card. I wanted to showcase how, instead of lovers, Loid is opened to the world of void from Albrecht and how he used to be Loid's world, but all he sees now is secrets and burdened with the truth of what Albrecht started.

-A hint for the Fool card, no person
I will say, i did rush this on on the lightning, but I like how it makes her look. Bold and expecting. Also, the 3rd frame with a helmet change.
Ok I know having mesa as death seems strange, but she was made from alaid v and his infection strain.
But also, she's iconic to warframe, so why not make her a surprise death card. Death can be a surprise.
Also, textures again, and I really enjoyed the metallic details on her.
Koumei pretty much speaks for herself with being fortune.
She's the second one I changed the helmet on and also a frame I have genuinely loved using. I love her threads of fate deal
I stayed off from warframes on this card cause I wanted to just do a bit of a painter styler with the love card. Plus, why not have the Canon bisexual as the love card.
06.04.2025 07:14 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Octavia almost didn't make it on here. Believe it or not, she was the 5th one drawn out but not to full detail until I learned more about what I was doing. I hated drawing her legs and coloring them. I did enjoy the lighting on this one where it looks like she has speakers in her stomach.
06.04.2025 07:14 β π 7 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Here's where I give titles, and this is when I made a slide show of the cards and who got what titles and what each one means when you draw them out the deck depending on the position they're in.
06.04.2025 07:14 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I think loki deserves a rework to make him relevant again. I don't see much of him anymore.
Now I needed something to make make the cards interested besides just colors and textures, I needed dynamics. That led to loki and the visual of him kinda falling put of use in warframe, and I wanted to showcase that, which is why later on I chose I'm for the tower
06.04.2025 07:14 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The textures again are there if you zoom in. This is also the only time I use an ability symbol to showcase one of her primary features in game.
This is where I wanted to get more intentional with the borders and honestly, this is my favorite border I did
This is also where I use textures to blend colors together
Like I said, I used that break to learn some shit
Zoom in and you'll see the texture of her skin
After that break, this is where I get into it with textures, better lighting, and a bit more of that storytelling on the cards and where I decided to make these into a tarot series. I didn't give them titles until I reached the Garuda card.
06.04.2025 07:14 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This is the first card where I use an alternate helmet cause I didn't like the original
I don't really have much to say when I was making Harow other than I took another break after drawing him for about 3 or 4 months.
06.04.2025 07:14 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Got lost in the background a bit, but I think I popped off on it. This is also when the laso tool came in clutch to mask the sections and color
Now, this is the frame that broke me to finally take a break after much progression into my learning (much like how in tarot, the Fool is learning from the other major arcana cards)
06.04.2025 07:14 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This piece was during pride month, and the coloration on the energy is the colors for bisexual. Kinda of a nod at caliban being organic and sentinel tech and as well as me just stating I'm bi. This was also when I found my favorite concept brush for backgrounds.
Here is when I started my process differently. You don't see it, but this is when I break the frames apart and focus on sections at a time.
06.04.2025 07:14 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I'm still proud of this card, though the lightning could still be dynamic
Go big or go home, and subtle is more can sometimes go hand in hand, and I feel like I captured that idea at this moment with frost.
Between the energy effects and lightning progression, I was getting more comfortable with digital art and using shortcuts to simplify what I want conveyed
You can kinda see the progression from here on how I treated lighting because of the energy emitting from her
This is when I focused more on the frame itself than the background cause I was honestly burning put at this point.
This was also the start of making energy effects to make the frame pop in another way, which lead to new inspiration
I was rather happy with this piece and glad it paid off, but I was also feeling some burnout and running out of ideas on how to make things interesting
This was the first time I was asked to be featured on someone's stream (hi vec) and that's when things kinda escalated on how I presented my work and was happy it was paying off
The community that found me is kinda insane (in a good way)
I remember their reactions and was ecstatic to keep going.
This is when I also change into more of a colorful lighting on the background. I should of used more lighting on the frames, too, but I was still uncomfortable with digital art and learning the application I'm still currently using (sketch, formally known as sketchbook pro)
Around this time I was getting some decent views on my work.
Rhino was honestly pretty fun and the first to feature a weapon in the series. He's holding the lex. For the background, I just wanted a pop of color on him since he has a plane color scheme
I did screw around with the borders again during this time cause I wanted them to match the prime aspect, so that's why they have a strange effect on them
The backgrounds on these took more time than working on the frames again and I kinda wanted that rustic moody whimsical feel
I only did three prime variations of the warframes cause I didn't like how their original looks were. That also lead me to get a little bit more into the backgrounds, which lead me to more brushes to use so you'll see different variations on what I do.
06.04.2025 07:14 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This was around the time I learned how to condense my layers and just go section by section with a background color, flat color, shading, lighting, and detail color layers. He's also the only one to have two boarders in my series (little bit of favoritism)
One of my favorite frames actually is Oberon right after Xaku.
When I made his pose, I was thinking, "Let's make it sultry!" And well, now I have what seems to just be a horny Oberon, but nothing wrong with that.
The next frame that came to be was Mirage, and I remember when finishing, I was like, "Yeah, this is a good phone background."
The borders on the frames weren't intentional at first, kinda just happened honestly cause this border was going to go on Gara.
Gara was actually the second frame to go through my mind. She's a rather complex warframe since she intentionally wanted to be turned into one, which is why I was going to do magazines about the frames. I think what got me not to finish her was just the stiffness of her so I moved on to something more fluid in stance.
There are rough drafts of other frames I had the intentions of fleshing out cause these were originally going to be a magazine cover series instead of a tarot series.
06.04.2025 07:14 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This card took 42 layers since I was more focused on the background and didn't know any shortcuts in the beginning. Later on in the series, the wand tools are my most used resources for masking and coloring.
I decided to transfer to digital art since it was easier to send to my friend cause he's several states away from me.
Transferring to digital art was an experience, I'll say, since I traditionally do surrealism art with humans and plants.
There were many challenges in the beginning since I was new
I wanna put yaw on transparent sticky notes cause they're great for sketch to line art The border to have on the cards is nouveau inspired and it all started from just fucking around honestly.
A thread on the Warframe Major Arcana Tarot cards
Please read the alt text in the images as well
The idea to start this series was actually making a little poster for my friend who liked Volt since it's one of his favorite frames
