(And yeah, my biggest concern is that I am a paper first person. It's the "save notes digitally in one swoop" vs "having to transcribe all notes" thing that's making me consider digital!)

How is the file transfer from desktop to tablet without the fee? Also how is the weight? XD

Remarkable is the other thing I was looking at but it's def a budget concern at that level too. The subscription thing is meh, as that means losing features if they ever shut down. :/

Input lag may be a thing tho for me so now I need to maybe test it first in person (for the Scribe).

Ease is use, battery life, how is writing with the pen on it (any delays or is it seamless?) and honestly anything else on the pros and cons that stand out to you? Oh! Does it require any membership/monthly fees too?

I am looking at a Kindle Scribe and I'm curious if anyone here has ever used one and has feedback, or if anyone has every used a similar digital notebook system that I should also look into!
