The Xteink X4 is underpowered, flawed, has no backlight, and no touch screen. But it's tiny, cheap, magnetically snaps to your phone and has a devout community loves it. It has bloomed into something special thanks to open source firmware. For @aftermath.site aftermath.site/xteink-x4-ch...

Ok I just did the Crosspoint flash, Tom if impulse gets you DEFINITELY let me know and I'll point you at the install page, it is a really good upgrade on functionality! :D

While researching digital notepads I came across the smallest ereader ever - the Xteink 4.
It wasn’t expensive & honestly looked just so fun so I ordered one & I love it!
I am flashing mine with the Crosspoint firmware, and generally am very much geeking out right now!

(And yeah, my biggest concern is that I am a paper first person. It's the "save notes digitally in one swoop" vs "having to transcribe all notes" thing that's making me consider digital!)
