Nearly 1/3 of all births in the US in 2024 were C-Sections.

The recovery time for a C-Section is 6-8 weeks.

Companies are not required by the fed or state govt to provide paternity leave to fathers whose spouse has had a C-Section.

For 6-8 weeks, the mother is on her own during recovery.

I think what makes the wait for Silksong so terrible is that I've never fought the urge to re-play a game more than I have with Hollow Knight.

I've thought about it every day since I beat it over two years ago, and have waited to avoid getting burnt out when Silksong finally releases.
