I've gotta say, despite how much i did not enjoy the screen printing class i took in college, it was kinda fun to dust off those skills and give it another go for these pieces. Plus, I got a chance to experiment with watercolors on fabric, which I've wanted to do for some time

Three fiber arts projects laid out on a desk. They are all screenprinted with the same design of a pair of snakes twisted around an old fashioned surgical scalpel. The composition is reminiscent of the snakes-and-staff medical symbol used by some hospitals and university programs. The two projects on the sides on on grey, woven fabric. One is lightly painted in with a purple background and red and blue skin for the snakes. The other is painted black around the symbol. The project in the middle is on white fabric, splattered with red paint. It is in an embrodier hoop, with bright red stitches being sewn in across one snakes snout.

Didn't post about it because i was sick and just trying to power through last week but I recently joined Artworks' Threads of Our Lives gallery fellowship! Its been so nice to be in an open studio space with other artists again rather than hunched over my desk. Fun stuff coming!

And thats it! i had a ton of fun this year and now i want to do way more digital art. I have a lot of OC's i dont have up to date designs for i could work on. And i think I've found that my scratchy-hatching style is still my best.

That was going to be my last one until i realized the fight ended at noon today instead of midnight last night so i decide to do a quick one of DancingClaw's alien blobs cause they are very cute
