I'm obsessed with this small 1828 etching by Norwegian artist Johann Christian Clausen Dahl, on display at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. It's entitled 'Rough sea with a two-master and sailing boat' and it's so tiny and so great.

I saw them years ago in a basement gig under the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. It was sweaty and exhilarating.

Picked this up for the bf this past weekend. Excited to give it a spin myself, too!

An anesthetic blanket of fog covers the city. The black limbs of leafless trees are scribbled onto the white sky―the illegible ransom notes of ghosts.

The chicks are born precocial, meaning they can swim moments after hatching, but hitch a ride on a parent for two reasons...
