And I just saw that they fucked up the minion AI, the tag mechanic and the whip hitboxes... This update feels like a nerf to summoner...
03.02.2026 19:20 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The thing is, it was honestly fun to combine the whip effects, specially with the firecracker/snapthorn. And while the new reforges are nice, it just isn't as fun.
Also, the new summons they added are either very rare or very weak, that's kinda disappointing ngl.
They could have at least have just removed the tag damage stacking, because some whip effects now feel completely redundant, like the speed buffs from the snapthorn, durendal and dark harvest

Whip stacking gave summoner an unique mechanic that allowed you to mix and match your builds with the different whip effects to synergise with your summons. Now with that's gone, the new whips just feels like small stepping stones to the existing whips.
