I never fail to meet someone new and amazing and cool. I never fail to have fun with my friends (and wish I could see them more). I never fail to appreciate how much effort and time it takes for the wonderful people at @scaresthatcare.bsky.social to do beautiful things for people in need.

It's a haul from Maine, lots of hours in the car and manic panic of managing inventory and preparing to be social as an introvert. However, the people at this show always, always lift me up.

After reading "Rider in the Widow Lands," Coy Hall's new Sword & Sorcery story, my admiration only grows. This is a terrific, moody tale about a flinty-eyed "hero" whose past, only glimpsed, could surely fill volumes.

I enjoyed the hell out of this story!
