Yes, mass COVID infections undoubtedly caused cognitive changes for some, but I suspect for many this was their first experience with a long term traumatic situation they could not escape or avoid
I watched as it aired and gave up in season 8.
From what I've heard I didn't miss much.
What don't you like about the apocalypse storyline? For me it was the peak of the show.
