My public library has the series, I had no idea that this was a series.

I'm from NY- Queens, but I have lived in lots of places. This is my second rural community. I have lived pretty much all over the country, Illinois, Arizona, Texas, South Carolina, and
Connecticut.

Money is not really an issue when it comes to resistance. The county has folks with money and organizing skills.

My neighborhood is all Dems, the one MAGA family took all of their maga swag with them when the moved out. We also collaborate with the rural county near us. We've had good turn out for No Kings days.

We have had some local wins, including school board seats and have Indivisible groups that are active in the region.

You will be surprised, Southern Maryland. At the state level we have good results but locally it's lots of MAGA.The entire local government is MAGA.

Living in a news desert is really a problem. Our local news page is a joke, and is indeed a page. We used to have a real paper but it has been years since it folded and the page we get now is a joke. There are no reporters anymore.

Racism for sure where I live. I live in the flaming blue Dem district that votes, but getting people to vote is a real issue for us as well. They are not all left behind. Not all rural America is impoverished. We have lots of well off racist white people in my rural county.

I'm surrounded by these people and they are jerks. Selfish bigoted assholes. The one MAGA family in my neighborhood had the good sense to leave taking their giant MAGA flag with them.

#mystery, #thriller, Dorset, UK, #audio. I tried to read this in the past, but didn't finish. This time I was totally there for it. Highly recommend the audio version.

I read this years ago and really enjoyed it. it was published when lots of apocalyptic novels were published and I was reading a lot of them. Whitehead is a more of a literary writer so I can see how genre readers might not appreciate it. I actually liked the book and the movie.

The characters were not interesting. They were boring and didn't know why I should care about their relationship. I work in academia and a transcript of some of our faculty meetings would be a better read. It would have worked better as shorter text and less blah, blah.

All of my doctors' offices switched to HGTV .Nothing like watching he Property brothers while your eyes dilate.
