we always like to remind people about the part of durham county chapel hill voters. it’s a blessing and a curse to have the maps in one’s head. (we did print out helpful guides for the dem tables so people could find their precincts easily last go round.)

Just a note to let Durham, Chapel Hill and Carrboro know that Zephyr Coffee on 15-501 is ***VERY*** good. Excellent espresso drinks, and the ham and cheese croissant was outstanding. It’s in Patterson Place by Asian Bistro and the cigar shop. Definitely give them a try!

I walk around a lot looking for political and protest signage and ephemera, sometimes I will collect it as well. I have donated much of it to either the NCMOH or UNC-CH.

I highly recommend looking at @triangleblogblog.bsky.social as a model: it’s built on fun, civics, and community participation. Over 80 contributors, a parade, pizza parties, and actually driving change.
