HEARTBREAKING: Dallas Cowboys defensive end Marshawn Kneeland died early this morning by apparent gun suicide. He was only 24 years old.

America’s suicide crisis is a gun crisis. Our hearts are with Marshawn’s family as they grieve this tragic loss.

A gunshot wound can change your life in seconds. For survivors, health care is nonnegotiable. We can’t talk about gun violence without talking about ensuring victims have access to affordable health care.

Making guns more easily accessible to those in crisis is catastrophic.

Since 2006, veterans have died by suicide nearly 20 times more often than soldiers have been killed at war.

Veterans deserve more than empty words. They deserve leaders who work to protect them.
