If you were a part of this chorus or didn’t speak out against this kind of hate-mongering when Paul Pelosi was brutally attacked, I could care less what you think now about how “the left” is reacting to the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

1.) sent a letter to Maxwell inviting her to testify

2.) if/when she accepts, send a letter to the Chair demanding a hearing

3.) if the chair declines, hold a minority-led “hearing” or “forum” with Maxwell as the special guest “witness”

On January 6, 2021, 147 Republicans voted against certifying a free & fair election. That was after a violent mob stormed the US Capitol. Why anyone would think those same Republicans would choose now to “stand up to Trump” over a piece of legislation is beyond me.

It’s an indictment of the Democratic Party leadership that they haven’t figured out by now that fundamentally we are still in the midst of an anti-status-quo electorate. That has more to do with some of these outcomes than whether or not you’re a “progressive”
