Absolutely. That's the third health practitioner I've been to who's been using it. The first one I was like, uh yeah okay because I didn't really think it through and was not expecting that. If I ever go back to them, I'll revoke my permission. The second one I just said no.

Is there a particular English accent in the UK where people kind of say “ zzyou” for “you”. I think some non first language English say it like that but I’m thinking of English-first language speakers in England. (Neil Tennant in Pet Shop Boys for example)

It was the equivalent of writing a 1500 word essay with citations plus making the slides and recording it all in a week. I’m proud of myself for volunteering do the first week and for actually getting it done!

Well the long transitions pushed it over the 7 minute limit so they had to go!

I think it will be okay.. just have to check it isn’t over the time limit as an exported product after I took the ridiculously long transitions out!

I just have to check it & make sure I cut out enough of the transition between slides to get it under 7 minutes 😬 PowerPoint added ridiculously long transitions & I don’t know if I can change that up front but I’m not going to go back & record it again!

Today’s tech tip from an old person. You can record yourself delivering a PowerPoint presentation right in the app. You can also move where your charming face delivering said presentation appears on each slide individually. Such fun.

I had a very expensive 2-hour consultation with an audiologist who specialises in tinnitus and hyperacusis today. I learned a lot about both conditions and have some options for supporting myself now. Masking it is not one of them.

My phone has been doing it for a while & I don’t know how it happens … gonna start paying attention to what I’m typing when I want to write “I” because “a” is nowhere near I. Sometimes I type “in” instead of I + [space] so it may be something like that….
