I used to read so, so much and kinda stopped for the past decade (mostly for lack of commute, ahah)

This book is such a great way to ease myself back in 😄 it's just such a good time ahah

I'm barely halfway into it but I'm really loving it, it's super fun 😄

I'm glad I focused on making it dogshit so there would be less friction, I actually got over the hump and finished it.
Also weirdly helped me focus on getting dumb shapes. Really happy with the cats, lmao

One thing of value I see in that, if you're just musing forever without actually starting the project, is that you can see what ideas you remember/still like/hang on to, months/years/whatever after the fact

I definitely have a couple project ideas that have solidified after years of random ideas

My usual reply is that you're probably overthinking it!
Look at how many half assed games come out every day I'm sure you're already doing better!! There's no harsher judge than yourself and all that!!!

(yeah it's hard! but unless you got actual time pressure I think it's part of the fun)

2 years ago I found a picrew PFP generator that I really liked and turned it into #pixelart
It looked nothing like me at the time

I now have turned into that pfp- the haircut suits me, I spent a year tracking down a cool starry sky shirt, and got my ears pierced ahah

That's awesome, but now it makes me want a sweater like that IRL... 😄
