This is what work is like lately. Big changes over the last few years and on-going…busier than ever. More and more is asked of employees with less to work with and the same money. I’m getting older and it’s harder to adjust to changes, let alone so many with little direction.

Having my own issues with peri menopause and getting older I asked my Dad who is 85 why my mom had to have a hysterectomy. No clue why, I asked was it irregular periods? Cancer? How would you not know this 🙄

my dad had explained that in the construction of the Halifax bridges there was expectation workers would die ie: collateral damage. Over the years regulations greatly reduced worker injury. I think Conservatives want to return to that, financialize people’s lives.

I think for our PD, the money spent could be better put to use within the department I think they waste a lot of money on certain things.

Where I live Police are adequately funded but our municipal FD has had a massive shake up in terms of training and how members and support staff are treated it’s now getting the proper attention. Our emergency health system is run by a contracted company and needs work, problems definitely exist.

Defund the police where I live means instead of greatly increasing police budgets yearly we take a look at where that money is going and move a portion of it to mental health care, poverty reduction and community action groups like Cease Fire.

They all look and talk so strangely as if controlled lol. And it doesn’t take a genius to see how ppl were so hideously tricked with conspiracy theories against the very ppl trying to help improve things 😑
