The one in the top post isn't techno ( Ozbek - Like This ). So don't worry. It's a type of commercial bass house music.

Check out Beatport; it currently has the most accurate style sorting. They at least try to maintain it. Once you figure out what style you like, it'll be easier to find new songs.

Maybe “genre chaos” isn’t confusion; maybe it’s freedom. The scene keeps morphing because nobody’s policing boundaries too hard. In the end, whether it’s house, techno, or something in between, it’s all about the pulse that keeps the floor alive.

Boom, people call it techno. But real heads know: house brings soul and swing, while techno is about hypnotic repetition and machine energy. Still, maybe that’s the beauty of it — genres mixing, evolving, cross-pollinating. DJs sample, producers blend, crowds don’t care as long as it moves them.

In today’s dance scene, the line between house and techno is blurrier than ever. Everyone’s throwing around the word “techno” — but half the time, it’s not techno at all. A groovy bassline and a four-on-the-floor kick?
