Why isn't that reviewed as a flagrant foul? You review when guys interfere with landing on jumpers from in front, not sure why it would be different from behind.

So in my one lifetime Match I brought in Hatcher, Spell Snare, Spell Pierce, and Ral. Took out like 1-2 Slickshot, the Instant Speed Bounce, 1 Basics, and then 2 Something else that I forget. Was maybe Secret Identity? Or 2 Lightning. I maybe am boarding too slow.

9-0 into split the finals of the Standard Challenge with Prowess. Deck did well this past weekend, so gave it a spin. Copied the second place Arena Championship list. Think it has game against Lessons and Landfall, so a pretty solid choice right now.

When a team like the Sixers has a trade deadline where the on floor product gets worse, how does the locker room react?

Split the top 4 of Pauperpocalypse with Mono Red Madness. I wanted to play a different deck, but after testing a Madness Shell seemed like the right call. Mono Red is smoother than RB, and it played out that way in the tournament. Fun deck if you want to play Pauper.

One can only hope this is because they are drastically reducing the number of standard legal sets in 2027. That is the only reason that at least has some actual logic behind it.

So because MODO grinders bias the data it can't be released? And if you want to know the meta game you have to put in tons of hours play testing? Those both seem very reasonable to me.

I think restricting data tends to hurt individuals who are working on their own for tournaments. I also know in my own experience going through tournament results helps me find what off meta decks I can play. Without knowing the meta it is safer to just play the best deck.

I think the flattening of the odds is the easiest thing to fix. Their needs to be worse odds for the middle of the lottery teams so you can't justify tanking out of competing for a play in spot.

5-2 in the standard challenge with GR Landfall. Lost two mirrors, happens. This feels like the best deck for the current meta to me, recommend it for anyone going to Milwaukee.

The only reason I can think of is Morey is completely off PG after the Suspension, and is trying to save assets to move off him in the off-season. I agree you can't take years off with Embiid at his age though, think it is a mistake.

I always wonder when a game happens like this with players out with illness if the team is sick in general.

Maxey's offensive output has decreased as the season has gone on. Is this due to him taking a lighter workload with Embiid healthy, the toll of heavy minutes dragging on him, or just a regression to the mean?

Top 4 of the Standard Challenge with Gruul Landfall. Full Bore was fantastic, makes it tough for opponents to ever tap out, and Pyroclasm covers alot of bases. Unsure on the Vibrance, they were okay, but that maybe isn't enough. Divide Guide is because of Pyroclasm, probably worse than cub.

Top 8d the Standard Challenge. Playing a stock deck, but it feels pretty good.

They had 4 players unavailable due to injury or suspension, and currently have 2 roster spots being filled up by 10 day contracts, and a Two Way guy they aren't allowed to play. I think this game will be uniquely shallow, unless they can't find anyone better than Lowry in the buyout market.

I think Jitte being miserable was only true in the past when it was by far the best tool in creature matchups. Now I think it is useful against Pride decks for SFM decks, but not overwhelmingly so. I also have no issue with Depths decks, think it is too slow to be that good.

I agree in theory it is the same morally. However in practice Players have tried to influence the outcomes of bets through their play in limited circumstances. Given Kalshi is built on the idea of insider trading, I get why it can give a worse impression.

Please no unban of Zirda. I have no interest in a combo deck being that easy to assemble. Also, Jitte is way worse than depths, should come off if we are unbanning depths.

Looking for a PT team for Las Vegas. Previous one was shut down by the sponsor. I have over 10 PTs under my belt, and have won 57.8% of my professional matches. Generally pretty good at figuring out draft formats, helped my last team to a positive limited record as the Limited Lead.

Is there any player on the buyout market who you think would justify the cost cutting moves? Haywood Highsmith seems like the only interesting name I have seen so far.

I think if he played at the same level he had been so far for the rest of the year, I honestly think no. I think he will play better, but I don't think that a first was guaranteed to be on the table.

At what age does a player become too old to reasonably come over?

Since Joe and McCain were both Sixers I have seen them both, and effort isn't the issue with McCain. The issue is he is small and unathletic, and isn't yet at FVV levels of strength. The willingness to put in the hours in the weight room isn't an issue, so I think he gets better, just takes time.

I agree it is a good bet, and OKC has picks to burn. My worry would be it is a bet that pays off for the team after OKC since they probably can't play a poor defender that many minutes while competing for a championship. Still, shooting is worth gambling on.

He was surprisingly good at finishing at the Rim last year, but has been pretty poor at it this year. Also poor defensively because of size limitations. Still, pretty sure every Sixers fan hates this trade.

Is it weird that I hate this trade, and think this is probably fair value for McCain?

Don't like trading McCain to the Thunder, even if the return isn't actually awful. I get he had limited opportunities here with VJ, but still thought he had high potential.
