As far as I'm concerned, Starmer crossed the line a long time ago and Labour will not get my vote with him as leader. His comments on trans women just confirms that I made the right decision.
22.04.2025 16:51 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0When it comes to promises and pledges, Starmer only delivers disappointment. #Labour #Starmer
15.04.2025 06:44 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Well done. Now get Starmer to read his original leadership pledges and renationalise essential industries, starting with Thames Water. Then Labour might win the next GE.

It's unfathomable. It was clear that Starmer wouldn't be able to please both the traditional Labour base and the right wingers that he courted at the last GE, but to disappoint both seems to be is his only achievement.
22.03.2025 21:02 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Who'd have thought that #Labour would implode so soon? Not because of the usual right wing press nonsense about allegedly punishing the wealthy and increasing taxes, but because they've chosen to punish the most vulnerable in our society. Shame on #Starmer

No problem reneging on his pledges because "the situation has changed" but can't row back on any aspect of Brexit because, well, the people have voted. I'm starting to think Starmer doesn't have any principles...
20.03.2025 22:09 โ ๐ 7 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Fair point, but my decision is the result of a slow burn. I can't keep being disappointed and thinking "one more chance...". Enough is enough.

16.03.2025 16:20 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Reneging on tuition fees and nationalisation because "circumstances have changed" but not discussing Brexit because "the electorate already decided" shows he's duplicitous and unprincipled. Not for me thanks!
16.03.2025 16:14 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I've sadly come to the conclusion that I can't vote for #Labour with Starmer in charge. They had my vote by default last year, but he's chosen the right wing voters courted at the last GE over their tradional left wing base. No Labour principles, no vote.
