When I'm too depressed to have made tofu earlier, it's literally just the same thing but with just the edemame. Honestly I'm mostly just impressed with myself being able to do this much when I'm feeling aweful these days.

Depends! If it feels like it was unsatisfying and cuts off the characters narrative in a way that feels wrong for the player I use it as an opportunity to build more cool moments for everyone. One time we kept the player in as a ghost and they possessed their sword.
