Probably growth. Writing scenes is easier now than it used to be. I’m thinking of going back and rewriting some of the things I’ve written before, not even looking at the first draft.

They say to write your stories for one person. My person likes romance that tingles their spine and relationships that pull them through the worst circumstances. My reader likes yelling at the characters, “Just kiss already!” yet they know the wait is worth it.

I liked what I wrote back then. Now after writing so much more I go back to revise it and realize it’s not as good as I thought it was. I wonder what future-me will think of what I’m writing now.

Same. That’s a huge part of what I unintentionally write, but it seems to be a dominant theme.

Hopefully something. I stayed up until 2 AM working on character and scene creation and balancing that with social media. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Got to get back to my 10 PM bedtime.

Absolutely. Yet the other day I did my writing at Starbucks. At least when I closed my laptop I was done for the day. At home I keep writing until who-knows-when, but I did look up every time there was movement.

The brain fog is thick in the AM and clearest when I’m supposed to be sleeping. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Completed a very emotional chapter and loved it. Decided not to skimp on unique metaphors. They’re so rich in color and meaning and get the point across so accurately and vividly.
